Lalgarh: how much blood-bath is sufficient to quench the thirst?

I am from a small town named Medinipur- the district headquarter of former undivided Medinipur District( Now West Medinipur). Largarh is about 20 kilometers from my town and I am fortunate to know a handful of wonderful people from this place. The name originated due to the red color of the laterite soil of this part of the land. There is some kind of correlation between the populace and the soil- and it is hardly surprising that austere condition have inculcated immense strength and innocence in the people here. Their honesty, innocence, moral values in spite of their impoverished condition and lack of education is exemplary. I am deeply anguished due to the recent development in this part.

Lalgarh as the name suggest have been a red fortress for last 30 years. When the power is accumulated in the hands of chosen few, universally they tend to misuse it and this univesal moral turpitude of human race gave rise to Redocracy ( Government By REDS) in Lalgarh. Party interfered with the every aspect of human life, be it domestic quarrels, land dispute or local religious conglomeration. And soon nepotism, fidelity to party replaced morality and fairness in judgments but people were compelled to abide by their mandates. The oppositions were tortured, fined, vituperated, framed and put to humiliation. Party cadres established a Stalinist regime in the village, people were deprived of the voting right to their candidates, and government aids were devoured by the party cadres. In the name of “Marxist Camp” or Communism Work shop they collected money from the villagers to host feast for the cadres. Local jobs were awarded only to those candidates, who are not only loyal to party but also rich enough to grease the palm of the party cadres. As a result same saga of have and have nots was repeated. Red cadres with their inflated bank balance, picturesque residence were alienated from the people. People ventilated their grievance, by vandalizing cadre’s private property, by brutal murders.

Police system is corrupted to the roots and they have been instrumental in their pursuit to oppress these helpless people in the name of peace-keeping. Most of the times vested interest of the Party Big Brother or lucid cash drive their agenda.

The Maoist discovered a fecund ground for propaganda of their utopian ideology. According to the common wisdom and worst kept top secret, this very Maoist were paid by ruling party to unleash attack against then Trinomool-BJP alliance. Like Frankenstein, the Maoist menace backfired to the ruling party and the main opposition party should also be blamed for their tacit support to this outlaws.
But end of the day the sufferers are the commoners. Common aboriginal people especially women and children will be used as human shield. Police will arrest some innocent people to cover their inefficiency. By any means a huge loss will be incurred in terms of loss of lives of commoners, the impoverished proletariats.

Being a non-colored (not red not green ) , non-intellectual, non-cpm, non-maoist, non-tmc i.e in a way being a lesser mortal deviod of the knowledge of political jaragons , I am concerned only with the lives of these human beings who are truly innocent and being used by the evil forces ( be it Maoist or RED PARTY) to safeguard their vested interest.

The WB government is yet to ban the Maoist!!! They want to fight it “politically and administratively”! As we all know Maoist are against state law democracy and in a way detrimental to the democratic structure of this country. They are awfully ignorant of Mao’s socio-economic policies, distribution of land and other positive virtues and on the contrary still preach the adage of Chairman Mao: Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. Mao’s Cultural Revolution caused a holocaust comparable to the one unleashed by Hitler on the Jews. But they had a tinge of red and our beloved communists’ shares the brazen history of supporting chairman during Indo-China war! West Bengal is bleeding, common men shading their blood; Comrades wake up; Come out of the chain of orthodoxy, ban these blood thirsty thugs who are nothing but hired-killers.
