Tiananmen Square:- Where is the Tank Man

Two decades has been passed after the carnage in Tiananmen Square. The BIGBROTHER of china has incessantly purged the traces of protest. Though the history has been erased frantically again and again still there is a faint impression found in the psyche of the people, world media and in the video footage of the TANK MAN. You can sensor the media, you can conjure up brand new history , you can repudiate it at the din of your voice, but more you try to annihilate the truth the more it is transpired.
Today Chinese follow more or less free market : anathema of communism. The divide between the have and have nots are even more promiscuous. Bourgeois (they have taken a new avatar of Billionaires and Politburo members) swamp the social and political arena. Peasants (The soldiers of Mao Ze Dong ) has become wedged labors. The capitalist America , the preacher of free trade is looking up to china to get out of the worst mess since 1930’s great depression.
But the more liberated the market has became; more the Chinese people have been deprived of freedom of speech, freedom of idea. Twenty years after the incident the proletariat class has been subjugated to promote the interest of handful of politburo members. Where is the TANK MAN! The need of the hour is the dazzling soul of the tank man who can stare up to the evil Chinese dragon of state sponsored oppression.
Imagine the scene that occurred 2 decades back. A fleet of aggressive tank was marching on the street. A commoner – an incarnation of courage, stood in the way of the approaching tanks. He refused to give way instead asked “Why you are killing us without any reason? “ The man was arrested by the police. No one knows what kind of punishment was inflicted upon him for asking this simple question. In all possibility he has been purged, annihilated. But the good sense still prevails! he has become the voice of protest against the dictatorship. CIA executed Che but created the legend out of him. Similarly Tank Man – the legend, can reincarnate inside Chinese student and can topple the blood thirsty, oxymoron, double slandered Chinese Fascism (not communism) .
